In this card review, we introduce each card in "SAGA" and give you the tips for playing it better in your game. 1st card is a KING, one of the biggest "bomb" in "SAGA". At first, look at the background color of the card. It's green. Green cards are in a group of scoring, play it to your field and score big. KING has 5 points, biggest in a single card. This is one of the thing affecting the game, but the most impressive one on this card is, of course, the text.BR> A game of "SAGA" ends when the deck runs out. And KING has a text that "Discard all cards in draw pile except for the one at the bottom." Therefore ... when someone on your next draw a card, or even played a card like PEASANT or MERCHANT that let someone draw cards, the game end. This card let the game in "soon to be end" situation. In other word, you cannot end the game in this turn. For some reason, other players will continue the game. When the deck runs out, cards in fields are positive, and cards in hands are negative points. If a player have negative for total, that player will never end the game in his or her turn, perhaps. However, sometime it can happen. The winner is the player that gets 50 points first. Suppose several number of players' score is close to 50 and you're at far behind them. You need some time to reach to them. KING can give many players negative points, so it's very effective in that case. Even if you cannot get to the top, you can get the time you want most. KING can also do well while someone is trying to collect cards. Suppose, first player draws a card, second player played WITCH, do collecting cards so aggressively. Then third player played PEASANT. At this time, if you have KING in your hand, it can be a big bomb. Yes, you have several cards in your hand for penalty, but you have 5 points in your field so it hurts you little. Then the direction reversed, the next player is the third player that played PEASANT. If he choose to draw a card and finish the game, first and second player will get horrible penalties. You or third player can get the top of this game. If it's not, your position will be better relatively. And, if someone collecting 20 or more points in his or her hand and the deck runs out in the same time, rule says cards in fields are positive. KING can shut down any other player to finish the game by collecting cards. This can be the biggest enemy for card collecting player. And KING can give many players big negative points. KING is very special card, as its name. There're 7 cards with reverse icon, including KING. And every card with it is a bomb. If you get those card, have fun looking other players screaming. |
