| [Card Review] 10th card review from "SAGA" is THIEF. It's in purple, hand controlling group with dicarding or passing cards. This card work best in early game. It can happen many times when a player tries to collect many card and draw a card, then ... there it goes. This is the only card that can keep away someone from winning by collecting cards. If you find so many THIEF played in early games, that members may be good players. But, in the endgame, THIEF is a problem that is hard to use. If you play it for someone with 5 or fewer cards in his or her hand, that is a gift to that player. You have to keep it in your hand and play it in a very last, or handle it with BARD or PEASANT. And here are a couple of tips for playing THIEF. First, play THIEF and name a player with 2 or fewer cards in his or her hand. Then that player discard all cards from hand. You don't have to worry about him to end the game with his emptied hand, because that player have to play a card or draw a card at his or her turn. If that player has no cards, he or she cannot play any card (of course), so have to draw a card then end his or her turn. Player with no cards in hand at the beginning of his or her turn cannot end the game. Second, this is not how to use THIEF, actually, but how to let other players play THIEF on you. If you cannot handle DEMON or HEROINE in your hand, let's draw a card, grinning. Other player will play THIEF on you. Then on your next turn, if you can play several cards in once, you can see other players' frustrated face ... |
